Good day, we are sorry to hear about what you are going through. Please note that the law has remedies to protect you and prohibit any form of harassment and extortion. The law also has various remedies to protect your character from defamation. As an immediate remedy, you may approach your nearest magistrate court (during court hours) to apply for a protection order. On the PO you may specify the kind of protection you seek and in this case it would be to prohibit the defaming actions against you and to prohibit further harassment against you. Should the respondent not adhere to the protection order, they will face prosecution. You may also approach the civil courts in cases where the respondents actions (words and harassment) caused harm to your reputation or livelihood. This latter would require formal representation.
